District Runner-up Champs

Wow! It's been an awesome weekend playing ball. We came out in 2nd place out of 8 teams! The girls played some awesome ball, and we are so proud of them. Oberlin took 1st and have a really great team. We won our 1st game and then lost our 2nd game on Friday night. The girls played hard on Saturday and won 2 more games. We had such a blast! The 2nd win felt like we had won a championship game and the girls were SO excited! It meant so much to them and all of us because they had to pull together as a team and play some Pine ball! Last night it poured down rain while we waited to play ball. The girls had so much fun in the rain. We all cheered, screamed at the lightning, and huddled together. It was a trying game with wet balls and mud. We lost, but the girls learned that good attitudes are best. I am so gonna miss all of my girls and of course, ball. What an awesome experience! Jackson

We got to spend the day with our baby Jackson yesterday. He is just the sweetest and gave his Nanny lots of love. And...of course he got our undivided attention! Abby even changed his diaper! We miss him already.

Tonight we play our first all-star game in Deridder. Hope the rain clouds stay away and the girls Play Ball! Will keep you updated (on our wins of course!).

A Special Angel

I have learned that Baby Cate went to be with Jesus sometimes this morning. Please remember her parents and family during this time of loss. Ali and Charlie are truly amazing people. They shared a very private part of their lives with many and for this we are all grateful. Through this journey with this wonderful family and special little girl, many people have become closer to God again. For this, we celebrate a life. This family has been an awesome inspiration of faithfulness to God. May God wrap his arms around them and carry them through this hearfelt loss.

A Ball of a Weekend

I enjoyed spending all day Saturday watching my great nephew, Alex

play ball in the tournament here in Pine Prairie. They live in Moss Bluff, so

I don't get to see them very often. Also, got to see & of course take some pics

of my other great niece & nephew, Caden & Ainslee. They are such cuties!

Please remember my Dad in your prayers. He's in the hospital for a bad kidney infection. Hopefully he will get to go home tomorrow. He's feeling & looking much better.

Prayers are needed for this baby girl that has a heart defect. She is in Texas Children's Hospital and her parents are waiting for her heart to start performing on it's own. It truly is an amazing story. Her parents are so strong in their faith and are such strong prayer warriors. This baby girl has reached people all over the world in more ways than her parents will ever know. Their journey has touched my heart and I'm asking that all of you pray for Baby Cate. I can't imagine ever going through what they are facing with their daughter and their strength and faith in God is amazing! So, please include them in your prayers. Many thanks!
