Wow! It's been an awesome weekend playing ball. We came out in 2nd place out of 8 teams! The girls played some awesome ball, and we are so proud of them. Oberlin took 1st and have a really great team. We won our 1st game and then lost our 2nd game on Friday night. The girls played hard on Saturday and won 2 more games. We had such a blast! The 2nd win felt like we had won a championship game and the girls were SO excited! It meant so much to them and all of us because they had to pull together as a team and play some Pine ball! Last night it poured down rain while we waited to play ball. The girls had so much fun in the rain. We all cheered, screamed at the lightning, and huddled together. It was a trying game with wet balls and mud. We lost, but the girls learned that good attitudes are best. I am so gonna miss all of my girls and of course, ball. What an awesome experience!
